Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 2026
Note: This is a working privacy policy pending formal legal review. It will be updated as needed to reflect any changes in our practices or applicable legal requirements.
YouthPerformanceTrainer.com respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what choices you have.
What We Collect
Analytics Data
We use standard web analytics to understand how visitors use this site. This may include:
- Pages visited and time spent on each page
- Referring website or search engine
- General geographic region (country or state level, not precise location)
- Browser type and device category (desktop, mobile, tablet)
This data is collected in aggregate to help us understand which content is useful and where we can improve. It is not used to identify individual visitors.
Contact Information
If you contact us by email, we receive the information you choose to provide — your email address, name, and the content of your message. We use this only to respond to your inquiry.
Email Subscriptions
If you choose to subscribe, we collect the adult subscriber’s email address and, if provided, first name. We may also record the page where you subscribed, the broad topic you selected, and standard campaign tags so we can send the material you requested and make later emails more relevant.
We use AWeber to manage subscriptions and deliver email. Subscription information is transmitted to and stored by AWeber as our email service provider. AWeber may use email pixels and link tracking to report delivery, opens, and clicks. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link included in every email.
Our email subscriptions are for adults age 18 and older. Please do not submit a child’s name, email address, school, team, date of birth, location, diagnosis, injury information, or other personal details about a minor.
No Minor Personal Data From Tools
Interactive tools on this site (such as comparison tools, checklists, or calculators) run entirely in your browser. They do not transmit your inputs to our servers or any third party. No personal data about your child is collected, stored, or processed by these tools.
Cookies
This site uses a limited number of cookies:
- Essential WordPress cookies: These are required for the site to function properly (e.g., session management). They do not track you across other websites.
- Analytics cookies: If we use a web analytics service, it may set cookies to distinguish unique visitors and sessions. These cookies do not contain personal information.
We do not use cookies for advertising targeting or cross-site tracking.
Third-Party Services
This site may use the following third-party services:
- Google Fonts: Web fonts may be loaded from Google’s servers. Google may log standard access information (IP address, browser type) in connection with serving these fonts. See Google’s Privacy Policy.
- Web analytics: We may use an analytics service to understand site traffic and usage patterns. Data collected is used only for site improvement.
What We Do Not Collect
- We do not require an account or email subscription to read the site or use its current tools.
- We do not collect payment information on this site.
- We do not sell, rent, or share personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes.
- We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Data Retention
Analytics data is retained according to the settings of our analytics provider. Contact emails are retained as long as reasonably needed to respond and maintain appropriate business records. Subscription data is used while you remain subscribed. After you unsubscribe, we stop active email delivery and may retain a limited suppression record so your opt-out is honored. AWeber may retain records in accordance with its own legal, security, and retention obligations.
Your Choices
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect the functionality of certain site features. You can read the site without subscribing. If you do subscribe, every email includes an unsubscribe link. You may also contact us to ask about, correct, or request deletion of subscription information associated with your adult email address, subject to records we must keep to honor an opt-out or meet legal obligations.
Children’s Privacy
This publication discusses youth sports, but its email subscriptions are intended only for adults age 18 and older. We do not knowingly invite or collect direct email subscriptions from children. If you believe a child submitted personal information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
